Picture the air…

9907162a1.jpgDon’t ask me where I found this picture, but it was when I was zonked out at the end of the day and was aimlessly shite-surfing the net to see where my mind would take me. I often write random words into Google or any other search engine and wait to see what pops out. It truly is amazing what the wandering mind can bump into. Anyway, the picture that you see is of a jet breaking the sound barrier. Nope, it’s not a computer-generated image – it’s the real thing. It’s a bona fide sound clap. Allegedly, it was formed due to condensation surrounding the aircraft. I’m also told that skilled pilots are able to move the sonic boom back and forward across the length of the plane depending on their speed. Oh yes, strange but true, strange but true…
